James Barnhill primarily works in two studio spaces. One is a spacious warehouse with a lofty ceiling, which he shares alongside a wooden boat restoration crew. He also utilizes classrooms at A&T University in Greensboro, North Carolina where he is an art professor. All photography by Betsy Blake Photography.
